International Yarn Bombing Day

Hooray! Who would have thought that there would ever be a international day for yarn bombing? How ace is that?

So we're joining in - as is only appropriate, seeing as Tash started the knit graffiti shiz right here in Wellington with OutdoorKnit way back when.

The deal is:

Meet at Holland Road Yarn Company at 1pm, Saturday 11 June

Bring: darning needle, small scissors, and any appropriate knitted item that you think might suit a lamp post, tree, rubbish bin, bench, etc etc.

We'll head out in teams and bring some yarny joy to the streets of Petone. Wheee!
