Lettlopì 10ply
Lettlopi is spun from a strong wool, meaning it's not intended for wearing next to skin. But it is incredibly warm and can even be worn outside in the rain - it'll (mostly!) keep you dry.
Lettlopi is often used to knit typical Icelandic sweaters - it's perfect for traditional lopapeysa.
Tash has knit a Brownstone by Brooklyn Tweed and an Almanac by Tin Can Knits using this yarn. It's crunchy but surprisingly enjoyable to knit.
The yarn is made from 100% Icelandic wool.
We recommend washing this yarn by hand.
Recommended needle: 4 - 5mm
50g / 100m per ball
Lettlopi is certified according to the Standard 100 OEKO-TEX® label.
